Greetings all -
I upgraded to 6.5.6 recently.
I went to post a yellow sticky on a patient chart, and the option is grayed out. (Accessed via right click on patient name, click on Set A Reminder).
How do I get it back? Where did it go? Why? (ok, that one won't be answered, just like so many other why's after an upgrade...).
Any workaround without actually opening and saving a new chart note?

Thanks,
Steve Hersch

Right clicking on a patient name and choosing "Set a Reminder" opens the reminder message window, which sends a timed mail message to an in-office AC user.

You can set a yellow "Pop Up Note" in the patient's Demographics window, lower left, which will show in the yellow field on the main AC message window whenever the patient's name is selected in the patients list.

In version 6.5 when you right click on the patient and select Set reminder the option in section 3 to "also document in patient's chart (as yellow reminder that is NOT part of the medical record" box is greyed out you must open the chart to set reminder. Our docs use this when they want to make a note to bring up at a future appt. They have complained about the fact they now have to open chart to set the reminder.

Just checked your preferred procedure (above), and it's the same for me, the only way to post a yellow note is in Demographics. Bummer.

They removed the Sticky Note!?? That was actually a very useful little feature.

Thanks.
At least i know I'm not crazy.
Workaround: open chart, click on the Set Reminder button next to the yellow sticky note. The sticky note option there is not grayed out (??? - gotta be an inadvertant bug), set reminder and close chart. Do NOT need to save new note.

How do we get this back to AC to fix with next release - it's got to be a simple coding slip.

Steve

Latest word from AC is that the preferred mode of reporting a bug or requested change to the program is to go to your main screen....Help...Recommend improvements (OR) Report a bug.
