IN the deleted inbox, there are 6000 messages in there.
I can't figure out how to delete them out.
Will it slow the program down with that many deleted messages in the inbox?

Yes it will slow the program down!
You can also go into your user preferences and have them deleted automatically when you sign out.

I like to have the deleted notes in the box until my biller tells me that she has all the days notes. There has been a few times when the deleted file has saved the day by having the missing note.

question: how can we delete all but the last week's worth? It is nice to be able to look in there if a chart mistake is made, but I have hundreds and don't want to delete them one by one....

Julia,
I don't think that is possible. I think you can do the reverse (i.e. delete more recent ones) but I don' think that would help you.
