Just started using AC and love it!!! Unfortunately, my mouse keeps freezing up, and I have to reboot my computer to get it working again. The computer isn't really froze, because I can change programs and save notes with function key, but can't get mouse/cursor moving. Any ideas? I'm using XP and the current beta version of AC. Any help is greatly appreciated.

As usual, let's try the easy/free approach first. Have we tried plugging our mouse into another USB port?

I have one mouse that only works on one USB port with AC. Using another port works fine. Other similar mice work fine anywhere. I have no idea why. I just learn to use the other port.

Yes, I thought about that after the fact and moved to another port. So far so good, but I'll keep you posted. Thanks for the help.

Are you using a wired or wireless mouse?

If your computer is still freezing, is it a wired or wireless mouse?

Bert, Sorry never got back to you on this. It is a wireless mouse. I moved it to a different port and have had no other issues. Thanks. David Lee, MD IM Dallas, TX

I would give James and David credit. But, I have to say I have never had a USB port issue. It's usually that somehow the receiver got blocked or is too far away.
