How do I export patient e-mail addresses out of AC into say, Excel spreadsheet. I want to send a mass e-mail to my patients from Entourage.

Go to reports. Select the demographics table, select the e-mail field, search for "contains @" and then export the report.

I clearly need to quit roaming through the AC database and actually look at the latest version.

Oh, yeah, Indy... I do IT in the night, tossing and turning, with spasms of nausea....

This does bring up a point... I knew this because it has come up before, and someone else answered it. There are lots of issues brought up here that come up over and over, and I've only been posting for 9 months. Is there some reasonable way to make this easier? Maybe not... the term that comes to mind is called a "manual" and the way to find stuff is called an "index." Something like "Amazing Charts for Dummies" would sure be nice....

David, you are going to get us in trouble if we start going down this road again.
I did notice that the "Help" section in AC is expanding a bit. Still a long way to go, with a lot of "More information on this topic is coming soon...", but still there seems to be an effort in the right direction.

I am confused about what you are doing at night: IT or "it". What's with all the tossing and turning and spasms....

Well if "it" is good enough it becomes "IT".....
