Any new on the release of 6.0 and the PMR.

It is the end of January and we should have heard by now.

I need the Meaningful use cash. If I can get a hold of the alpha 6.0, I am even willing to use that so I can start counting 90 days.

I see that they said it is certified, but find no reference as to where you can get it. Unfortunately even if you register I do not see where the government is going to let you get a check until late next year. It would be great to get the 90 days rolling.

I'd like to know also. I haven't moved up to ver. 5.16 yet because if ver. 6 comes out soon, I was hoping to avoid reinstalling on multiple computers.

Is 5.16 still considered a "beta" version? When my 5.029 install of AC does its weekly version check, it still receives the "You have the latest version of Amazing Charts".

I have 5.1.5 and it says beta and then directs you to 5.1.6 as a "beta version".

It still doesn't look like V6 is available for download. Isn't there generally a period of time where the program is available to a select group for beta testing, even before general release of the beta?

Is anyone doing beta testing of V6? Come on...you know who you are!!!

Not that I believe CMS. But their timeline says the first incentive payments will be started in May 2011 (presumably for the Jan-March 3 month attestation period).

Steven, I am confused about this. There has been a spate of press releases about "first docs to get MU checks" recently. If they are getting money now, I can't imagine that it is for work done in 2009. So they are getting paid for 2010- for some portion of the year perhaps? Does that mean the money flows more quickly than you mention above? Any ideas?

These docs must have qualified under the institutional Meaningful Use period, which began Oct 1, 2009.

Small practice docs screwed by CMS again!

I don't think anyone is beta testing 6.0 - believe they are still finishing in house testing.

It may not be available but it is certified for meaningful use :^)

Bumped up to keep it alive.

It's February 6, 2011.

What's going on with 6.0 and PMR.

I thought there was going to be a newsletter to help keep us informed.

Frank,

I have heard from the source that the delay in the PM is because Jon is not yet satisfied with it. It has not been forgotten. Patience, patience, my pretties.
