Sorry I don't have the technical jargon to describe my situation. At times I click on one medicine but another one is the one that goes to the prepare script screen. The individual scripts do not seem to want to stay in place. Almost like they are floating?

Maybe you are too fast for your computer. My office staff tell me to slow down and stop clicking. patience is a virtue.

At first I couldn't seem to replicate your issue, Vicki.
With experimentation I realized that after drinking several shots of Tequila, I can reproduce it. The scripts do seem to be floating.

We find that the script comes up copying the last one that was written for that medication which is annoying in a multi provider practice where our scripts tend to not be identical.

At this late hour tequila sounds good, but it happens without it. I think St. Lawrence may be on to something. I type very fast. The sig and instructions for the med get moved from the list to the prepare script area a few seconds ahead of the name of the med. If I go on to the next med before it transfers the name, the first med doesn't gets cancelled out. On a very rare occasion, I get the instructions of one med and the name of another being sent to the prescribe part of the screen. I have caught it every time and haven't sent it on with a "half and half script", but I have come close. I have found that when I do take me time, it doesn't happen. Perhaps slowing down a bit would help. Thanks

Vicki, I love Patron Silver tequilla. Tonight though I am drinking Johnny Walker 15 year blended scotch. It is delish! Sorry I can't fix your problem. I always say the scotch, tequilla, or beer fixes everything.

Thanks to all of you. The philosophical advice is just as important as the technical!

Vicki,
This happens to me sometimes, too. The only time it happens is if I try to pick the med while the interaction checker is still running.
