OK, so this may be silly. I know when I go on the 24 Boards (the show with Kiefer Sutherland), they will try to set records for posts. The 24 crowd is probably a bit different than AC users, but I thought maybe we cold shoot for 100 posts.

As you know, I think we all love AC and part of that is the AC community. I have many friends and acquaintances from these boards. We tend to ask for a lot of fixes which, by definition, can come across as a negative. A lot of providers who are looking for a good EMR come through here so I thought why not list all of the good features of AC. I will start with two.

Number 1: It is, by far, the fastest EMR on the market. I can do a progress note in under a minute. I have pediatrician friends who have to use Logician and one of them saw me at the nursery. He was so jealous of our progress note compared to his five page one every time he sees a patient with conjunctivitis. He is there after hours charting.

Number 2: Vinny

We all contribute to the boards, but Vinny helps to get things done. Now, since he is the moderator, he will probably delete this.

Bert...

Thanks for starting this thread. I was thinking earlier this week that all the request for "fixes" was sounding too negative. I don't think many of us want to sound that way.

One of the best things for me about AC is the ease of use. The basics are a snap to use. New staff pick up just about everything they need in a few hours of use. And that saves me lots of time.

#4 It's cheap (inexpensive, that is). The best value in the EMR universe.

#5 The creator and CEO of the EMR is one of us little guys working in the trenches.... (not some Goliath publically traded companies that rape and pillage for quarterly earnings). And did I say it's inexpensive, already? Even I, the Jack Benny of FP can afford to sleep well with the cost.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the interoffice messaging system. Keeps the "chart" neat and easy to see the timeline of any encounter on the past visit page.

OK. Joseph gets 10% on any future sales. Great list joseph.

Here's one I like. I hope it hasn't already been listed. Using Alt - right click to make a quick template is brilliant.
