I have a Naturopath – ND in my office. I can't even get her registered in my program because Sure scripts doesn't recognize ND’s as licensed prescribers. Here in Oregon they are physicians and hold DEA licenses. I spoke with the folks at SS and after some arguing they agreed to look into it but nothing has changed. I feel like this is the dinosaur approach to EMR and programming. Has any one else run into this problem?
