Re: Paperclipping labs to progress notes. This has been discussed I believe in past.

Usually I make a note in treatment plan that I discussed so and so lab, echo, doppler, etc. There results are in imported section of AC.

It would be nice to have a paper clip in the progress note, attaching that particular imported item, so I do not have to make a detailed note about that result in the progress not. This cuts back on data entry. Having a paperclip (very similar to paperclip we are used to while sending messages) in that progress note, attaching the imported item would be excellent.

Looking forward for this feature.

Vinny:

Any chance we can get this. My staff tells me: when there is an entry in the chart section like email saved or addendum with reference to some imported item, those 2 are disconnected. Hard to search which imported item the chart entry is referencing to.

If we have a paperclip like email attachment, we can attach the imported item to that note, making it a lot easier as our AC database grows.

Regards.

This is a fantastic idea. Let me look into it.

There would have to be a human-readable link so that someone looking at the paper version of the note would know what is being referenced, as well as maybe a hyperlink that would pop up the referenced item when it's being looked at from within Amazing Charts?

Hmm.. this would be a kick-[censored] feature. I'll do some digging and see how difficult it would be to create.
