I wonder if anyone would be willing to share their age-specific well child templates with me. That would save me alot of work.

Thanks

I actually went looking the other day for templates and couldn't find them, except for a few old ones in the template section. It's hard to believe that it has been that poor, but then, I had not shared mine.

Bill, I would be glad to send you my templates.

I thought Jon had some developmental templates in the ROS section, but I did not see them when I just checked. I have mine in the Social History section.

Theoretically, you can export templates to AC central and import as well. I have had problems with this working. I have reported it but it was not corrected in V4 (also a problem in V3)

I would be glad to send you my templates. I have to collect them singularly but it shouldn't take that long. Send me a PM with your email and I will try to get it to you. Look around under user list and send PM to send it.

Jon has some basic Denver stuff under ROS, I had put my devleopmental info under SH

BTW it is real easy to create your own. If you find developmental info you can paste it into the area, (alt and R click) will allow you to save the template.

DOCTORWAW, I am a pediatrician using amazingcharts for last few months. Would you share your templates for wellchild visits with me. I can have the templates retyped if import becomes an issue. My email is nchainani@hotmail.com
Thank you

Hi there! I am a pediatrician in Los Angeles, and I am opening my own office in two weeks. I just starting using Amazing Charts to download patient demographics, but haven't seen any patients yet. I am struggling because I want to change things to make it more peds-friendly, but have no idea as to where to begin.
Can someone please help me? Jon suggested speaking to you all.
So what I would like is a basic template for each well child visit (with development, nutrition, sleep, headss, etc) as it's own category.
Please please please help!!!
thanks!
email is drsonya@brentwoodpeds.com

I am a Family Doc but what I did was make a template for each age group in ROS with the points I like to touch on based on the AAP recommendations and another one for guidance in the Plan section. Then when a kid comes in I just R click on the appropriate field, pop in the age appropriate template and alter it based on the answers. The advantage to putting these in the ROS and plan section as opposed to say the PMH section is that they do not carry forward to your next note where the info would not likely be as relevant. I am using version 4 so I can't speak to V 5. I believe the health maintenance section in V5 can be customized to suit your preferences.
This takes some time up front but then it is a breeze and can be altered as needed.

Thanks! I think I was unclear. I am actually hoping to change the field headers to more pediatric specific titles (ie from ROS to development, social hx to nutrition). I will create my own templates to fill in.
Thanks again for any advice!!!

Peds, Sorry but the field headers are fixed; you cannot change them (though many of us would love to have that option).

I tried to upload my templates to Amazing Charts but failed, I will attempt to try again.
