Does anyone use this service? I see there is an import for it on AC. It seems like a good idea to cut down on phone calls.

Bill, is this some kind of reminder service that calls patients to remind them of their appointment?

No. Check it out at appintmentquest.com. It allows patients to request appointments on line. I don't know if it interfaces with our scheduler but it appears that it may. That is really my question.

this is an online appointment system. If the patient's email in in their profile, the system will automatically send them an e-minder 48 hrs before their appointment, so they can easily cancel with 24 hrs notice.

you can import the schedule to AC. Jon added (to V4)the ability to import patient demographics from AQ to AC when you import the schedule. I tested it and it seemed to work ok, but that was back in Oct. I dont have V4 installed right now. But you can import the schedule w/o demos currently. No charge. Instead of importing labs, choose Schedule.
You have to get the $20/month version (at least) of AQ for it to support exporting the schedule. It only exports/imports one day at a time, so we do it every AM first thing.

Using Appointment Quest cut down on my patient calls by about 80%. My voicemail now allows patients the option to go to my website to schedule. Most do. Nancy Guinn

Hi Nancy,
I am a FP doc up in Santa Fe. Thanks for your post on Appointment Quest. Are you a family doc? What else can patients do on your website? Tell me more about how you utilize Appointment Quest in your office.

 Thanks

Nancy, you might want to place your website in your profile. That will also help it come up easier in Google searches.
