In my practice there are two providers...myself and Kim our NP. I am leaving for two weeks of vacation and an associate from another practice will be providing some time in our office. He is not an AC user and is not listed as a provider on our agreement with AC. Can I just add him as a provider without registering him through AC and thus incurring the expense of another provider? How do others handle this? thanks Dave

it should be ok theoretically but even in our clinic, where we have 3 part-timers (equaling 1 full time doc), we still had to pay for 3 docs.
