Also we get calls from pharmacies varifying phoned in narcotics. We have had a rash of them lately. The patient names are wrong, but it would be nice to check on the DOB. We have found some real dates and match them to known patients. They are now sitting in jail.

I would also like to be able to search by DOB, and in the multiple criteria search I would like to search the 'last encounter date' by the date rather than a range of days. It would make it easy to see all pt's who were seen on any given day in the past.

Also by SSN. My PM program has this feature and I use it a lot, especially when patients have changed names and forget to tell us.
