And just giving the system clean stable power makes this much of a difference no less. As an old audio tech I always knew to give things good clean power, but to actually have to help the device itself like that is wild. You're right, why do they use such crappy power supplies? In general I don't buy bottom or mid-level towers, I tend to buy big and fast so I get more life out of them. Heck our old tower is 5 years old, but it was just about top of the line back then. Sure I paid like $2,500 back then, but here it is 5 years later and it us still holding up it's end with a little extra RAM popped in.
But just swapping out the machine's own internal power supply makes such a nice difference... That is simply "Amazing"!
