Al, I finally had to take you up on your power supply advice.
My 300W power supply died when I plugged it into a CyberPowers CP900AVR uninteruptible power supply.
Bert had a spare 350W power supply, that I swapped out the broken one. worked like a charm, the computer is back in action.
It seems to run faster and cleaner too.
Granted, it's not a 600W supply but I'm inclined to buy a bunch of them and install into all my computers at the office.
