I think you are taking my post much too seriously. A friend of mine were having a debate over Microsoft vs Apple, and he said, you guys hit the start button to stop the computer. He had a good point. Of course, he was joking to some degree.
In the old days, when you inserted a key and turned it clockwise, it started the car. To turn off the car, you hard to turn it counter clockwise and pull out the key.
