I mentioned that the grass is always greener on the other side.
But your argument makes sense, too.
As a rule of thumb, the older the program, the more bugs and complaints, the more difficulties with updating, and so on.
AC is now old enough to vote.
The absence of your mysterious Trish may be the straw that's broken the camel's back.
(I'm not venerable enough to catch the reference. but perhaps she retired?)
