I too have looked at other options.
My hospital system has made Epic so that it is in the cost range of AC when you consider ACPM and interfaces. But I don't want to learn another systems and I am quite comfortable with the system I have. I have been using it for almost 18 years. It has it's issues but then again it does the job.
