Nicely put--your cautions about changing from any EMR make lots of sense.
I used to point out that most of my clients were unhappy in one way or another with their EMR, but that divorcing their current EMR in hopes of finding perfection overlooked how painful and expensive the transition usually is and how often the same problems reappear during the new honeymoon.
The grass always looks greener on the other side.
