We moved to the cloud after experiencing server problems too many times to mention. We've used HP PC's and I've built several souped-up versions. Somehow some hardware goes bad on these (and that's for a one provider practice!). Motherboard, power supply, RAM, whatever. Cloud is a breeze. Our only issue is scanning takes much longer. Used to scan in something and one page took about 2-3 seconds to appear and now it's about 20 seconds. Even uploading a .pdf takes longer.
I am looking at the VNC app for Chromebook.
