Installed 8.2.4 over 8.2.2 today, no problems. Have to say, I like the new installer, less of the bumping & grinding than the old AC installers. Still -- a few command line windows appear -- a little scary when doing a weekend install.
In any case, opening & closing charts isn't perceptibly faster. YMMV, to quote Indy.
