running 8.2.4 for 2 weeks. no major issues. 4-5 simultaneous workstations.

1-2 random crash on workstation.

no significant lag for me. i'm running a resaonably fast xeon server with ssd and gigabit ethernet.

all client workstations with ssds. not sure it's necessary for AC, but a cheap 120gb intel ssd in each client makes them very snappy overall.

others are figuring out which parts of the above make the most difference. but for doctors i figure the hardware upgrades are cheap for the productivity gain and frustration minimization.
