We have recently finished scanning our 10,000+ old paper charts and now have these powerful ScanSnap scanners collecting dust. So, we'd like to use them to scan everything else paper that we are currently filing such as Utility bills, Insurance Carrier mail, Daily Reports, etc.
Does anybody have suggestions for good software to help us scan everything and "file" electronically?
I've thought about getting Adobe Reader to password-protect files with sensitive information, if any, and then manually filing to a Network drive. Then there is cloud solutions. But I am looking for something to help keep things organized. What are your thoughts, how do you file your non-medical documents?
