Makes perfect sense!

About 8 years ago we were in a similar situation, I did not want to scan outside records etc into AC. Partly concern about speed and size of II, partly concern about transferring data if we ever switched from AC.

We used PaperPort, which has done pretty well.

I never thought of your simple approach, to just create the folders ourselves!
