RRHC Member Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 11	I'm using an 18 ssd drive RAID 10 array with Areca 12Gb/sec specs. I also upgraded to full version of SQL with absolutely no improvement. The speed on this system does not change even when I used a 4 drive RAID 5 array or even a single SATA drive hooked to the motherboard. The speed problem is with the database indexing or the way the application interfaces with SQL. I just don't have to patience to grind through the process of optimizing the thing for them. Mine runs quite fast and they will eventually get it fixed. Yes, I have the sa password from Amazingcharts, and no I won't give it away.
