I can only imagine how frustrating this is for you. I do know how frustrating computers can be.
A lot of people seem to have main computers much less advanced than yours doing very well. I had memory problems when I upgraded clients to 64 bit machines. My server was unchanged 64 bit.
Your memory problems could be worse by running both AC and practice management databases at the same time on the clients. Are you doing that in your exam rooms for scheduling?
Is there an interfering program? Anti-virus might need to be switched. Is there another database program, or something that needs a lot of memory?
You might need to frequently reboot your clients to restore memory. If that helps, it's not your main computer.
You might be able to add more memory, especially if your clients are 64 bit. Often clients come with only one of two memory slots having a memory board, and it is best to have matched pairs of memory instead of just one slot working.
You could be dropping a lot of packets on your network, or a slow network with timing issues if there are bad NICs in your clients.
Sandeep has had threads on increasing memory and performance of clients.
If AC support can't find anything, you might need a second opinion from a different and hopefully smarter IT gal.
