We've gotten the first error too, several times, even though we ran the database tuner when we upgraded. For us the solution is to:
1. Make sure AC is open on the server (in previous versions this wasn't necessary)
2. If step 1 doesn't work, we reboot the server and again then make sure AC is open and running
This has fixed the problem every time and once we started leaving AC open and active on the server computer it doesn't happen nearly as often, though still probably once a month.
The other errors we get if we don't correct the first one.
It wasn't a network issue for us, so I just wanted you to have another solution if hardwiring doesn't fix it for you.
