Hi everyone. We don't accept insurance, but we need to keep the insurance information up to date in our system because once PM rolls around we would like to submit claims on the patient's behalf. We also need to keep record of insurance info for labwork and such.
Here's the problem:
Amazing Charts is now asking for the "Payor ID" on insurance plans. I have no idea what this is? Where to find it? I try to search google but many times I can't find what I'm looking for, or the claims address doesn't match up.
Can anyone explain where I might get this information???
I would also assume that if we don't have the Payor ID correct, or the correct claims address that would all get messed up?
