Kelly, I have a feeling the issue is with Adobe Reader. I've seen it in a few cases where opening the import tab causes a crash. Perhaps I could be of more assistance if you let me remote in to the computer.

For now, UNINSTALL Adobe Reader from the Control Panel>Programs and Features>Adobe Reader>Uninstall

Install FoxIt Reader instead. I've had several practices say that it virtually eliminated crashing with AC and sped up loading in the imported items section.
