Thanks for the tips. According to Dell tech support. I am running 32 bit WS 2003. I need to do a fresh install of WS '08 or '12 to get 64 bit. I can then run up to 16 GB of RAM. That's got to be the way to go. I think my ex IT guy just thinks that based on his hourly rate, it will save me money to buy a new server.

Indy, coming to NM from Colorado or TX is like saying, "hey, while I am in Bangor I will just drop by and visit you in philadelphia." I appreciate the offer and would be happy to buy you a steak sometime but don't come here just to install my new OS. I am sure I can find someone else local. You guys make it sound like he/she doesn't need to be a genius to pull it off.... not that you are not geniuses.
