Hello Everyone,
First I would like to assure our users, E-Rx inside of Amazing Charts is an ongoing project for our dev team. We are constantly trying to find ways to enhance and streamline our interface. Your suggestions for improvement are very much appreciated and taken seriously.
Please find listed below a few answers addressing your concerns as provided by the clinical team leader.
1. Deny reason of "scheduled drug" - Best solution is to Accept the refill request and AC will automatically print the prescription and send the Denial with deny reason to the pharmacy. The Deny reason dropdown options are preset by Surescripts and were not our choice of how we would like to see those options.
2. Formulary ? we are currently in the process of getting our Formulary and Drug history certifications from Surescripts. Once we have these certifications, we will be able to include the drug formulary information on our screens (this information is currently available on the New Crop screens by selecting the Formulary menu option from the Write Scripts page). Also this will allow clinicians to view medications prescribed for the patient by other clinicians and import that information into Amazing Charts. We expect this to be included in our July release.
3. Prescription eligibility ? as we update to the 5010A1 Surescripts 10.6 standard, we will also be able to check patient prescription eligibility benefits, which will speed the processing of Mail Order pharmacy transactions
4. Multiple pharmacies ? This has been a popular recommend improvement request and it is our goal to include the option for 2 pharmacies (as many patients have a local and mail order pharmacy) in our July release. The July release will be geared toward updating and improving the medication features in the program.
Thank you for your continued support,
