To David--
I was rereading the above note and have to add an addendum so I don't sound totally crazy. I am by no means a civil war historian but have found the study quite interesting and have visited Gettysburg twice----but brought up the idea of Jeb Stuart and his calvary in the sense that I think AC allows us as users to be very mobile and change quickly to the ever changing medical front--not unlike a calvary unit on the field of battle--as I understand Stuart was suppose to arrive 24 hours sooner than he actually did arrive on the eastern side of the union forces to cut off the supply lines therefore diverting the union forces which did not happen, and the advancing Lee front was able to be met by the entire union force and Stuart arrived too late--i think mainly due to inclimate weather if my memory serves me correctly-so often time chance, weather and circumstance change well thought out plans---and as they say the victors write history--jimmie
