But if I was asking as follows; "Would you like to come watch "me" play (not playing) hockey?", that would be correct as opposed to the example you posted, yes? So it would be, "come watching my playing", verses, "come watch me play"
I've always sucked at spelling and the like and althought I have a poor actual "knowledge" of the rules of such things, I'm pretty good at getting them correct by the old seat of the pants method of this does or does not feel so right.
