No, you cannot move SQL like that.

What you want to do is quite simple.

-- Grab an installer and database tuner of the version you are going to move along with a newly made backup of the old computer. The .enc file.
-- Put this on the machine you want to move to.
-- DISCONNECT THE ETHERNET CABLE FROM THAT COMPUTER. VERY IMPORTANT.
-- Install that version on the new computer.
-- Probably not important, but do the bare mininum to run it, e.g. enter demographics of your practice.
-- Restore the backup to AC on the new computer.
-- It will likely ask you for the database tuner. Never can tell.
-- Restart AC. It may take several attempts with right-clicking and running as administrator, but it will eventually work.
-- Reconnect the Ethernet cable.
-- Make sure the old computer cannot be used as a database. All you would need to do would be to name AmazingCharts.mdf to AmazingCharts.old.
