I am using version 10, I think there is an upgrade but that is too far down on my list of priorities right now.
Also, the quality of the microphone makes ( ? a big?) difference. I am using the microphone built in to my Fujitsu tablet. DNS people would tell you that is a big handicap for accuracy. For me, wearing a headphone set or tethering myself to a desktop microphone is not worth the time I would save doing a proofread and correcting the errors. I have not checked into the bluetooth option, the last time I talked to them about this was probably more than a year ago and was told that it wasn't really up to snuff.....one day will be, but I don't know about today.
About the two monitor option, I think this is too cumbersome for the exam room ( my counter space would be way too small) but might be helpful at your desk back in your office for " end of the day" charting.
One of my 3 staff uses the 2 monitor setup. But, as she has gotten more computer proficient she is using the second monitor less.
