Talk about being held by the short hairs, I am now in my 4th week at my new office location which is 1.5 miles from my previous one. Only one line of my address changed. I have been a Medicare provider for almost 20 years. But because of this one line change, I have not received a dime from Medicare in over 4 weeks!!!!! As Medicare makes up almost 60% of my revenue, if I survive the rest of the week without my creditors storming my office it will be a miracle. Do you think any other business in the world would be forced to accept these terms?? Absolutely not. And, let me warn all of you, if you are contemplating any changes and you are a Medicare provider, be prepared to give up your sanity, not to mention your house and car. Apparently also, any time you make any change with your Medicare you are now being forced to accept direct electronic deposits, which would not be all that bad IF THEY WOULD MAKE THE DAMNED DEPOSITS!!!
It's been nice knowing all you, if only via Cyberspace. I fear the rumors of my death have been sorely underestimated.
