I also have been using LogMeIn Pro at home for a few weeks and have been very happy with it. The speed is generally not noticeably different than over the office network. My connection is with Fios. Every once in a while I get delays and "jumping" of the cursor; usually reconnecting LogMeIn corrects that problem.
By the way, in my opinion, the time saved with Ignition is well worth the the $29 if you use LogMeIn regularly.
