I'm looking at AC right now for my new practice and haven't made a decision. This is partly because of my uncertainties regarding billing software and integration. I, too, have seen at least one obvious ICD-9 coding error in AC and I wonder how difficult it would be to manually correct the codes I'd use most often.
Assuming the codes (ICD-9 and CPT) are taken care of, is there billing software that will talk with AC?
Also, is it possible in AC to finish E/M and CPT coding without signing the encounter note? I was very surprised when I realized that it appears that the coding cannot be submitted until the note is finalized.
