Yes, a manual would be great. I believe Jon said that he found that most people don't use them anyway, they just sort of look at them once or twice; and then they tend to just gather dust on a shelf somewhere. Also, I feel that with a product such as AC that is constantly evolving and changing the thing is only good for so long anyway. So, I suggested to Jon a long time ago, that he put one together in an "E" format that was printable. Then those of us who like paper manuals could print one if we so choose. Sort of like making it possible to print out the entire help files perhaps? But they too are a bit short in many areas. I just like having the printed page in my lap while I'm trying to figure something out or fix it. I don't want to have the info I need stuck in the computer I'm working on and having an issue with.
But still this control "N" thing is really driving my Doc nuts. It doesn't happen that often, but often enough that it's a real pain. Might there be away to be allowed a user to turn off one or two shortcuts? So someone like Nancy could turn off just that one in her options box if she wanted. She likes some of the other ones, so I'm sure she wouldn't want to turn off the whole batch, but pick and choose would be nice. Not sure that such is possible, but it's a thought. But, a shortcut that is so destructive and can be done so easily by accident should be changed, fixed or removed. The cure is worse than the illness might we say....
