Hello All,
This is likely the simplest and most annoying of my posts.
I seem to be unable to press control C to get the highlighted text to copy. I always have to go to the menu bar. This is the same problem on three different keyboards. I'm likely the commonality. What am I doing wrong? (Please be kind)

I have to say (kindly) that in more than four years, I have never had a problem with CTRL - C and copying. In fact, it took and still takes me a lot of changing of my methods as I am used to highlighting and then right-clicking which, of course, pops up the template window. But, highlighting, using CTRL - C, and then CTRL - V always works for me.

This is a frequent problem for me. I often have to highlighligh and click on copy in the edit section to be able to copy. I have pretty much given up on control c because more times than not it doesn't work for me.

I have to say I would one try a newer version and two then call tech support. It really should work.

Been there and done that-but will report it again today. It is not a consistent problem so I think it is quirk/bug. Very frustrating, but not significant enough for anyone to find a way to help. One of my frustrations with the tech support is that they are great when they are fixing "known" issues-otherwise the help is inconsistent. Except for one tech who consistently has not seemed interested, everyone else is very solicitous--that willingness to try goes a long way.

Your Right. This newest version really is pissing me off!. If you Ctrl-C, it does copy, but instead of replacing text when you Ctrl-V, it just adds the copied text it to the text box and inserts it. Now you have to physically delete the text you wanted to remove instead of just highlighting over it and it being replaced w/ the inserted text. This just added a lot of steps for me, because my Templates no longer just drop in to replace old text. This bug needs to be fixed. I hope Jon is monitoring this thread. I have just deinstalled Version 3.715 back to 3.625 just because of this feature not working. Any other people having problems w/ this?

Try going to 3.7.8. It seems to work OK there.

On a previous post, a shortcut using control-S was suggested for quickly moving a chart into your own inbox rather than clicking or alt C where you have to select the inbox. It works well but be aware that changes in the plan section disappear when you use this method. Changes in other sections remain.

Tibor,
Thanks for the warning. It kind of made sense since you would be ready to sign the note anyway. But, I couldn't reproduce the disappearance of the plans. I wonder what I or you are doing differently?
