OK-anything new with the latest version and OA? I upload my claims every day, but is there any way we can upload the pt info in to their practice partner portion so we can track financials?

i'm wondering the same thing too..we haven't started uploading claims, but i think we'll use the OA portion to keep track of finacials, because it does aging.

ok so its Monday-excuse the conjugation-what I meant to say is:
Are your receptionists typing in the patient info twice-once in OA and then again in Practice Partner?

The last time we asked, they did not have any way to "import" information knto Practice Partners. We talked to their programmer directly and they didn't have plans to allow that. Has this changed? All they need is to send us a "header" file and we can export that information so they can import it.

They didn't plan to allow that????? So, what do they expect established practices to do? Oh, not use it of course.
Well, it is free. Sometimes you do get what you pay for.

yeah, that's a toughie. OA's focusing their energies on the EMR part of things (which is basically competing w/ AC), so i think they'd almost not want to do things to make things between AC and OA easier. we'll have to hope that AC, altho it has some accounting functions, goes a little further w/ aging, etc.
