I would like to see the ability to put in more than one set of vital signs during a single visit. Example: my nurse input a slightly elevated BP on a teenager. Upon repeat by me during the same visit, it had dropped to a perfectly normal reading. I either can over write the nurse entry, or place the second reading in the body of my note.

I agree. Being a remote site, we sometimes need to observe and stabilize people and it would be nice to have the vitals entered serially within the same note.

Now would be a great time for every body who wants this feature to submit it via the "Suggest an Improvement" feature within Amazing Charts. We hit Jon with lots of other suggestions related to vital signs at the Conference this weekend, so he may be contemplating a redesign.

Brian is correct, submit via "suggest an imporvement."
I don't believe this portion of the message board is routinely scanned by AC for ideas. I may be wrong about that. But Brian's method is best.

I know this happens between Nancy and Shel all the time... O2 also. Nancy has some of our patients do a resting O2 and then makes them walk the hallway to see how things change. Multiples if needed. Very good idea guys.

Does anyone remember how Jon renamed and moved the order of the vital signs at the conference?

I use the "Note" button just before the VS windows to document serial VS, orthostatic VS, SpO2, etc.

I also use the note button to record which arm the BP is taken in and what size cuff is used (e.g. BP: L. Adult) or to indicate if temperature is not oral (e.g. Temp: Ax). If patient is a diabetic, we also record a fingerstick blood sugar there e.g. FSBS: 118 (fasting) or FSBS: 398 (2 HrPP) etc. It would be nice to have a "regular" place to record these bits of informaton.
