For several of my CLIA waived tests I have to put in a QW modifiers. Currently there is not a way to put in the necessary modifier. The work around of adding a billing note on each visit is more work and might get missed with electronic submission. I put this on the wish list, but it is a problem.
Having to close out a progress note to get to the superbill is cumbersome. Right now, my nurse has to manually generate a superbill with the charges for her procedures. I then have to copy them over to the "real superbill" for that encounte and erase the charges from hers.
After 6 wks in practice I'm still about 150 encounters behind. With this "dual entry" it take so much time. I am getting quicker and able to stay up (almost) day to day now, but it sure seems like too much work. Asked the help desk about this and was told they're working on it. Glad to hear that. I'm rather discouraged right now (can you tell?).

LOLOLOL! I am actually very satisfied with AC. I have done clinic work for years and now am learning all the joys of being a solo practiioner. A whole new ballgame. Thanks for the encouragement--that made me smile.vr
