How can I add charges to the superbill for formulary medications and HCPC supply items dispensed from my clinic? The most recent update, 3.7.15 advised that HCPC and more medication codes would be added to the program. How can I input the HCPC codes, NDC numbers and the charges into AC?

My practice is in a small ski town in Alaska. There is no pharmacy here and my patients are given medications and supplies such as crutches, splints, and orthotic devices from my clinic stock in order to save them a 100 mile trip to the nearest pharmacy.

I wish I could help you SkiClinic. I don't use the billing program in AC.

I'm in rural Maine, and I thought I was in the middle of no where. Holy Cow!!! You are RURAL. We have at least 12 pharmacies in the greater Bangor, ME area. You have 1 pharmacy 100 miles away. The great outdoors sound great.....until you get sick or injured, ugh. smile

I hope someone else has a solution for you. Did you consider asking the Support Staff?

Will contact support staff next week. I am going halibut fishing in Katchemak Bay right now out of Homer. When the skiing stops the fishing begins. Actually, there will be more skiing next weekend and the first week of June here at Alyeska. It closes the month of May because of high avalanche danger. And by the way it is 100 miles round trip. I didn't make that very clear.

Like Adam, I don't use that portion of AC, but there is a CPT code editor under Administrative Options -- maybe that's what you're looking for.
