Between the top of every hour and 6 minutes after the hour, my entire office gets a slow down of AC. We are all logging into a remote server (not the AC server) and I have looked into scheduled tasks for the server (and my IT support has as well) and determined that there are no server or Windows tasks running hourly. I looked at the AC scheduled tasks and again nothing obvious that I can change (Backups and imports/exports happening overnight or at other times). I am wondering if there is something that happens to AC hourly (maybe a pharmacy database update, or something else). I reached out to AC tech support, but they did not have any explanations. Is anyone else having this issue? It has been going on for a couple years, but seems to be getting worse with time.

Thanks,
Aaron

I have not noticed this as a problem. I will be more aware around the top of the hour to look for any slow down.

You need a qualified pro to check out the server and network. JamesNT?

Check the SQL Server Profiler to see if there are several requests being sent to SQL Server during the time of the slow down.
