Hello Just wondering how many of the AC in the Cloud users have issues with periodic freezing throughout the day, resulting in needing to logoff the server and then restart, which makes the day extraordinarily painful...?? I have more than enough "seats" and upgraded my internet speed.... I think it's more of a function of AC being done via RDP, rather than a true web-based application? NOt sure if other EMRs like ECW behave like this?

Not sure on other EMRs and I have AC on a PC (used as a server) in the office. INteresting you would have this post and AC is raising the price on thise of use that host our own in the office.

Hello Luis
I transitioned from local to hosted AC in 2016 or 2017 ... worked great. The last 2 yrs have been frustrating - key stroke lag, connection drops, AC crashing requiring reboot.
It is unpredictable, most of the time AC runs fine ... then it happens - while I'm with a patient, middle of the day, early am, weekends ... unpredictable making it all the more menacing.
I am getting support from AC ... but it still happens. Don't know what to say. I really prefer AC hosted but can't go on like this. Tech is supposed to be invisible - now frequently I am distracted or having to apologize to patients because "the computer is not working."
I have to assume this is happening to some but not all hosted clients.
Judging by the few posts concerning this - I have to assume only a minority of hosted AC clients are having this problem? Why is that?!
My contingency is to go back to local hosting (ugghh!)
