I know that eRx now requires selecting a UOM, and that was one of the main things about the mandatory upgrade. I also know that some use the Quick Script Writer regularly, and some rarely. I am in the former group, and find it very helpful.
Here is the issue: If you use the Quick Script Writer, one can select a UOM, but this is not the codified UOM needed now for a prescription. Even if you select the UOM in the Quick Writer, the prescription cannot be sent and you have to start over. This renders the Quick Script Writer virtually useless.
Or am I missing something?
