Does anybody use the "Drug History" feature under Prescribing?

We often use to verify if patient has been pickup up meds, etc.

For the last 2 weeks it has not been functioning.

Hi Dino,

Drug history has always been hit or miss, probably works 75% of the time and responds "No history available" for the other 25%.

I honestly have not paid attention to notice a difference recently, I shall pay attention this week.

I just tried 8 patients, trying to go with different insurances, and none would show drug history.

If permanent, this is disappointing, I also found it a very useful feature

Hi Gene,

Yes traditionally it would work 75% of the time. Often if it was unavailable, I would recheck again with a different date range and it would work. Currently, however, I have no success.

You can contact them via email at support@amazingcharts.com or reach out via chat. They may need more details to be able to investigate this further.

I tried to test this on my own database, but this is one of those features where you need to be a real provider accessing real patient data in order to test successfully. My training database will not cut it.

Hi Mark / Everyone

I had Rebecca remote into server yesterday. She adjusted some network permissions and ran a database tuner, however it still did not resolve the issue. She advised I circle back next week.

For our practice, this is a "Critical Bug".

I agree a critical bug I get the following error message: "Unable to process requested drug history at this time. Status code: Item900 Rejection code: Description: Sender ID Not In Directory. Drug History is not available." Gee it was in there in version 10 sent this message as a chat to support we will see

Got a reply from support they say it is a known problem and both AC and NewCrops are working on it

We use it regularly, or at least we used to. Staff says it stopped working a couple of weeks ago.
We are on V10.0.2.

Please bring it back!
Sounds like it is not an issue with the upgrade.

Mark, I did notify support asking if the drug history button was no longer working, and have a ticket number since last week, but have not heard back. I understand that this may be out of AC's control, but it would be nice to know this is a system-wide issue and what is the ongoing effort to fix it. It is very useful to check the drug history when patients cannot recall meds or when they started them.

UPDATE: I just tried it again on a patient and it worked! Is it working for all my little AC friends out there?

Just to be clear, I'm on version 11, and the drug history was not working for about a week and now it is, all while on version 11. So... I wonder why some still have the problem? Is it those still on version 10? Hmmmm....
