Our physician is asking about "virtual scribe" services where someone listens to the patient encounter over Skype and edits the note for the physician. At least as a starting point. Anyone tried one of these services? Any technical or logistic issues particular to Amazing Charts?

I set up a practice with company called MModal. Pretty popular as even the local hospitals have started using it.
Not much in the ways of technical limitations. You'll need a microphone and their remote access software for any machine that you use in the exam room. Something like a Jabra Speaker phone as the one built into most laptops isn't great.
