I have a physician leaving our Practice to begin his own practice. He will setting up Amazing Charts with his new Practice. He is concierge and has about 450-500 patients.
Does anyone have any suggestions to make this transition as painless as possible?
How do we tranfer prescribing ability to new Practice? Can he be on both for a while while he is setting up the new Practice and building his new database?
How do we transfer his Updox with our account to his new AC account and database?
And the big question... Is there a way to transfer his patients actual chart including demographics and chart notes from our database to his new AC database instead of downloading a pdf file?
Can anyone tell me other items I need to consider as this physician leaves our Practice as far as the EHR is considered?

This is a multi-step process, but James and I have worked together implementing and splitting out a practice before.
There are several things that need to be done in a sequence, and some things are a smoother transition that others, depending on the system involved. Send me a PM or reply with contact info if you/he would like some help.
Best.
